Although we are not all the way through our fall 2018 season yet, with the playoffs starting in early November, the hard-working men and women at NFL Flag San Diego are looking forward to our next successful youth flag football seasons in winter and spring 2019.  Due to the enormous popularity of our leagues since we first began operations in 2013, with over 5000 children and 400 teams participating in our leagues today on an annual basis, it is never too early to start looking ahead for the next season to ensure that your son or daughter has a spot on a team with his or her friends.  The winter and spring leagues are right around the corner and registration is currently available for both.  Given the surging popularity of flag football in both the San Diego area as well as across the country, it is important to make sure that your son or daughter has a place and can participate in whichever league he or she would like to participate in.

The NFL Flag SD Winter 2019 League

The 2019 NFL Flag San Diego winter league will begin practice in early January and will feature a compressed schedule of four weeks of head-to-head league games in a non-contact recreational format and followed by a weekend of playoffs on February 7th and a championship game the following day on February 8th.  The top two teams from each tournament division will advance to the play-offs.  The winter league is open to children ages kindergarten through eighth grade and games will be played at four different sites: North County and Poway on Fridays and Inland Valley and San Diego on Saturdays.  Early bird registration has already ended but registration for the winter league is open until December 10th.  Registration information for the winter league is available here.

The NFL Flag SD Spring 2019 League

If your son or daughter is interested in participating in NFL Flag San Diego’s spring 2019 league, now is the time to sign up.  Our spring leagues are always among our most popular and the number of spots always seem to go quickly.  Spring league registration is available here.  Make sure to register soon; spring may seem like it is far away, but our spring leagues are one sure to fill up quickly.
