With the college football season now finished after the national championship game this past Monday night between Alabama and Clemson and the professional season similarly nearing the end of its season with the second round of its playoffs this weekend and the Super Bowl in early February, football on the highest levels is slowly drawing to a close for the season. This is a sad time of year for many adult football fans, who may spend the remainder of the winter and all spring and summer mourning, and counting down the days, weeks and months until college and pro football begins again in late August. Nevertheless, youth flag football is just beginning to gear up at NFL Flag Football San Diego. We offer leagues in a variety of age groups at five different locations throughout the San Diego area with recreational and competitive divisions in each age group at each of our locations. Participating in our leagues provides an opportunity for you not only as a football fan and a parent to become involved in watching your child participate in youth flag football, but also provides your son or daughter the opportunity to play flag football year-round through NFL Flag San Diego as we offer winter, spring, summer and fall leagues. Therefore, if you are a football fan who is dreading the end of the college and pro football seasons, then consider entering your child in the youth flag football leagues offered by NFL Flag San Diego and volunteering to coach a team or serve as a team parent.

Year-Round Opportunities for Your Children to Become Involved in Youth Flag Football Through NFL Flag San Diego

At NFL Flag San Diego, our youth flag football leagues first began play in 2013 and, although we never expected them to grow as fast as they did, we now offer leagues all year round for your son or daughter. We also offer leagues in five different locations throughout San Diego in both competitive and recreational divisions based on your child’s level of experience and the type of experience he or she is seeking in signing up for flag football. Therefore, no matter where in the greater San Diego area you live, your child’s ability to participate in flag football, and your own ability to participate by coaching or merely coming to practices or games, is available on a year-round basis.

Opportunities for Parents to Become Involved in
NFL Flag San Diego

If you are a parent who loves football (or even if you personally are new to football), we also offer numerous opportunities for parents to become involved, from coaching their son or daughter’s team to serving as a team parent. With practices at least once per week and games once per week, both you and your son or daughter can enjoy football all year round without having to make a major time commitment. Our winter league is set to begin play on January 11th with our winter league playoffs on February 8th and 9th. Our spring season begins play on March 1st and 2nd and will feature an NFL Player Day on April 13th, along with eight weeks of play plus playoffs in five different locations throughout San Diego before the summer season begins in July. Once the summer season ends, the winter season follows not soon afterwards.  Therefore, if you are a football fan and would like your child to participate in football year round, then he or she can do so through NFL Flag San Diego.
